When Wiring In Additional Solar Panel Should it be Wired in Series or Parallel

Question:
Im looking at adding this to a an existing RV solar install that came stock on a 2019 GeoPro 19foot trailer consisting of: 1 Go Power Controller GP-PWM-30-UL 30 Amp 2 100W roof solar panel Finally killed the hybrid 12v batteries that came with it and just bought a pair of 6v golf cart batteries to wire in series. With this setup, my belief is it should be plug-and-play and existing controller should be fine. But should I configure the 2 solar panels in parallel or in series?

Expert Reply:
When wiring an additional solar panel to a setup you would want to wire the two in parallel and not in series. You can add the expansion panel # 34272629 to the panel and controller you have now without an issues.
