how does the Caprock platform attach to crossbars? is it easy?

It is very easy, as you just use the included clamps to secure the Caprock to your roof rack crossbars. The clamps are secured to the channels under the platform, and can be positioned wherever needed to accommodate the spacing of your crossbars. And because they mount in those channels there won't be any interference with the top of the platform, leaving it completely free to mount your accessories.

This is true for each of the sizes of the Caprock platform for crossbars, which I'll list below for you:

@Johnjie Hello Johnjie. No, the Tule Rapid Crossroad foot is designed for only crossbars. The only feet that it would be compatible with is the Thule Evo Foot packs. The Thule Caprock Platform Roof Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 59" Long x 52-3/8" Wide # TH95YE can also be installed on the following crossbars: round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars.
