Replacement Suspension Kit Recommendation for a 2021 Lamar Trailer with Tandem 7K Axles

I have a 2021 Lamar trailer model # FS023627. The GVWR rating is 14,000 lbs. Each axel is rated at 7000 lbs. It currently uses slipper leaf springs. I would like to change them to double eye leaf springs, since I recently broke the hanger. Can you please recommend everything I would need to make this change?

I recommend going with the Timbren Silent Ride system because it's an improved suspension system that uses the Timbren jounce style springs that have been proven to be some of the toughest springs on the market. There are 2 options you need to choose from depending on your axle spacing (center axle to center axle):
- 33" Axle Spacing # TSR14KT01
- 35" Axle Spacing # TSR14K35T01
If you wanted to stick with a standard leaf spring suspension then you'll need to cut off your current hangers and install the following hanger kit by having it welded to your trailer frame:
- Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs # APT3HD
- 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 7,000-lb Trailer Axles # e64SR
You'll just reuse the U-Bolt kit that your trailer is currently using.
