I have a 240/30 amp with Nema 14-50r outlet for an electric car. I understand that this converter is fine for 240v to 120v, but what happen with the amp as Im already at 30amp? Should I look for an another product? My objective is to connect my RV to be able to run the A/C. Thanks!

It sounds like you are definitely on the right track here. The Mighty cord adapter # A10-5030FBK will allow you to to draw 50 amps and adjust it to 30 amps for your trailer. The male end is the NEMA 14-50 and the female end is NEMA TT-30.
