I had a quick question on what weight distribution hitch to use? I have a 2013 F150 with the 5.0L and a 02 Dutchman bunkhouse 26 BH26. I was going towards a 600/6000 hitch but which weight should I be going for

You are definitely on the right track here. When it comes to weight distribution hitches, it all comes down to your tongue weight. All of these systems will have a range of tongue weights that you want to stay within for them to work effectively. I looked up some specs for your camper and it looks like your tongue weight should be around 500 or so lbs. Tongue weight can vary depending on how you have everything loaded, and you can always use a scale like part # e99044 to get an accurate tongue weight reading.

In the case of the Reese Dual Cam II # RP45FR that you were looking at, this would work great with a tongue weight of about 400 to 600 lbs max. This is a great all around WD system and will go a long way to prevent sway and level your ride. Adjustable cam brackets allow you to fine-tune your setup as needed to optimize results. Keep in mind that with this system, you will need to purchase the shank separately like part # RP69FR.
