Is The Global Link Entry Door Lock A Suitable Replacement For A Bargman L100 Entry Door Lock

Question:
Hello, I have a 1967 Airstream Overlander and I am needing to replace the front entry door knob, the Bargman L100. I am hoping that the Global Link locking latch kit would work but the Bargman has a 2inch strike that sticks out. Do you know of a kit that would work for this? The door is 1-1/2inch thick and the thing that is hard is that 2inch strike to replace. Thanks for any direction you can offer.

To determine if the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option # 295-000019 will be a compatible replacement for your Bargman L100 door knob you'll need to remove to measure the cutout hole. The # 295-000019 requires a cutout hole that's 2-1/2" to 3" wide x 3-1/2" to 4" tall. You might have to make alterations to the strike plate placement as well for it properly catch the plunger of the # 295-000019
