Is there a recemened spacing for putting 4 sets of Yakima j racks on a malone microsport trailer? Looking for spacing between j racks not bar spacing.

No, there is not really a recommended spacing between the Yakima JayHook Kayak Carries # Y04084 side-to-side on your Malone trailer. It is really just trial and error, because everyone's kayaks can range in shape, size, weight and length.
There are a couple different approaches. You can start by putting all 4 JayHook's on evenly spaced across the bars and then shift them as needed.
Or you can put the first JayHook on as far to one side as possible, load the first kayak on that rack and then continue with the second, third and fourth that same way.
