Will The RV Awning UV Protectant and Conditioner # BE85FR Still Protect a UV Damaged Awning?

Question:
I have a used and previously sun bleached awning. Do you recommend this product as a means to prevent further sun rot? My vehicle is a 1999 Ford F350 Uhaul which has been converted into a camper. I’m not certain the age of the awning and the bleached area is only at the top side of the rolled awning in its stored position. Awning still functions superbly and no signs of fraying or tear which I can find.
