Locating Brake Controller Connection on 2006 Ford E-450 Shuttle Bus

Question:
Hi - I have a brake controller installation question regarding my 2006 Ford E350 shuttle bus. I watched the installation videos you have on your site and I follow up to the point where you use the adapter to plug connect the vehicle harness to the brake controller. In my bus, both of the connectors under the dash are connected to other things. The one connector that I think is the one I need, is connected to a bunch of wires that are clearly for things related to the bus - but I havent traced them. I have the correct adapter for my vehicle, but no where to plug it in. So, how can I complete my installation if I have no where to plug in the adapter? I have the Tekonsha P3 controller. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

The connector you're looking for should have a blue, red, and green wire coming out of it just like you saw in the video. In the video it says there are two connectors which you found, but there are some reports of models with 3. The third in that case was the brake controller connector which was taped up to the side. Double check and make sure you don't have this connector as well.
The other thing you can do to locate the correct connection is to trace the wires running from the 7-way. This should lead you to the right port to plug in the # 3035-P. If it ends up being the one you identified with another wiring harness plugged into it I would trace that and find out exactly what it is. Unless there is another brake controller wiring harness plugged in and running to another location there would be nothing else that would use that wiring harness.
