Question:

Hello - I need a bathroom vent fan for my RV that fits a 14X14 opening on a 1 inch thick roof. I would like to get one of those rain sensing vents, but the specs you list do not align with the vendor sites. Please advise as to which fans would fit my RV. I am also wanting a smoked cover as this is for a bathroom and ideally I would like to have some extra light in there.

The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Powered Lift # FV803350 you were already looking at is going to be the best option for what you're looking for. It has a smoke lid to allow in light and built in rain sensor to automatically close the vent lid when rain is detected. The garnish ring can be trimmed down to fit your 1" thick roof, you'll just want to also pick up the Roof Vent Installation Kit # 344270KITW to properly mount the vent to the roof of the trailer and seal it to prevent water from leaking in.
