Question:

Hi, I have a 2011 Subaru outback with the factory installed swivel cross bars. I purchased TH460R, THKIT3068 and Wingbar evos as per the expert recommendation. Can you please advise the process for removing the factory cross bars and then installing the THKIT3068. My parts arrive from your store on June 6th so I would like to figure out the installation process before. I took a look at the factory rails and cannot see any screw fixing points besides the two bolt holes that hold the cross bars in place. Any help you can help would be amazing. Thanks in advance

I checked with Thule and it does not look like your 2011 Subaru Outback Wagon with factory crossbars is compatible with the Thule WingBar Evo.

They actually recommend going with the Thule WingBar Edge # TH56RE using the Edge Raised Rail Feet for Thule Edge Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails # TH69SC.

I understand that this is probably not the best news to hear but at least you came to us for some insight before hand or else you might've been in deeper trouble.
