My mirrors are chrome top and backs, will the extension mirrors scuff or scratch the chrome?

The chrome mirror backs on your 2020 Ford F-150 will not be scuffed or scratched when using the CIPA mirrors that fit your truck, which are the following part number:
- CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors # CM11550
The reason why is the mirrors have wedges with felt tips on them which hold the mirrors in place.
