Question:

Hello, Id like to install and buy from you a bike rack for my LR4 2016 land rover. Can you make a recommendation for what is best for multiple bikes? And, must I have a tow thing installed square to install a bike rack? thanks so much

I do recommend installing a trailer hitch on your 2016 Land Rover LR4 and using a hitch mounted bike rack because there is more versatility in the types of racks that can be used, plus it's just easier to mess with. There are roof rack options as well as trunk mount racks that use straps to install on your vehicle. They have their times and places but a hitch mount rack is the best option overall.

For a trailer hitch we have the Curt # 13456 which gives you the standard 2" receiver. Please note that the spare tire on your LR4 will need to be stored somewhere else than under the back of your vehicle if it's a full sized spare.

Then for a bike rack I really like the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU84FR because it's a simple bike rack that still looks sleek and is very easy to use. The U-Shaped frame is a little unique but it actually makes it easier to load and unload your bikes.
