Helpful Expert Reply:
You do have a couple choices for paint and primer on the Replacement Upright # CE27605PG for CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons # CE27760. As most boat trailers are either painted or galvanized you can paint the upright to match. You can use a cold galvanized spray paint to build up the coating and provide adequate protection. Otherwise you can use a self etching primer and spray enamel paint to properly bond and adhere to the surface.
