On 2023 Tundra 1974 with a -in bed liner, does one need to cut bed liner to install BAKFlip MX4 ?

It's possible that if you have a drop-in bed liner you will need to trim to install the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK99AV on a 2023 Toyota Tundra with 5-1/2' Bed. The trimming would be for the clamps and it's on a case by case basis, we can't say yes or no for every application unfortunately. I have attached below a snip from the instructions which talks about the clamps and a drop-in bed liner. I have also attached for you below a link of the instructions which lists the other instances where install could vary depending on whether or not you have a drop-in plastic bed liner.
