04/24/2023 for Prodigy2 Brake Controller With: no trailer attached ignition on or off engine running or not getting a constant message code of: P.L flashing in all above modes [note: no 2nd period in the code] Not listed on the code card provided by manufacturer. What does it mean?

The P.L. solid means you have a power interruption while the pedal is being depressed. The upper circle of the P.L flashing 2 times per second means the controller "sees" an overload condition during operation. I would go over the wiring to see you can find any obvious signs of a short and fix as needed like cut wires or connectors not seated. Next I would just try unplugging the controller and plugging it back in. Sometimes you can get lucky and by doing that you can clear out an internal bug.
