What To Do If The Door Release Button On Your RV Microwave No Longer Opens The Door
Updated 04/19/2023 | Published 04/18/2023 >
Question:
We just purchased our camper that has a greystone microwave and we can not get the door open. When pushing on the door release button it goes in without any resistance or unlatching sound. Do you think it is defective?

Expert Reply:
Yes, if the door release button on your Greystone Standard RV Microwave # 324-000105 has zero tension and isn't opening the door then it is defective. To fix this you would have to take the microwave completely apart, which is not recommended, so replacement is the only option.
If you have a different model than the # 324-000105 let me know and I can find the correct replacement for you. If you bought your camper from a dealership and have a warranty I highly recommend making a claim.
