Can Saras bar work with an E-Bike?

The Saris Bike Beam Bike Frame Adapter Bar # SA3040 can be used to stabilize an E-Bike on a platform rack, but it can't be used to secure an E-Bike to a hanging style rack since this bar and pretty much every hanging rack on the market has a weight rating of 35 lbs per bike.
