Hello, I am looking into item #SH89VR for my 2022 BMW X5, xdrive40i, M package, and wanted to know if the installation of this hitch would prevent the operation of the hands-free tailgate? Thank you,

The installation of the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH89VR will not prevent you from being able to use your hands free lift gate on your 2022 BMW X5 xdrive40i, M package. This particular kit only includes the 2" receiver tube for attaching hitch mounted accessories. If you plan on towing a trailer or will need to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 you will want to get the Kit # SH25VR. This includes the receiver above along with the Towing Kit # SH58VR which includes a ball mount with 2" ball and the wiring for a 7-way with a 7 to 4-way adapter.
