What Style of Tow Bar Can the Universal Tow Bar Adapter Be Used With

Question:

you advertise the Roadmaster 039-2 adapters as universal and compatible with Demco, Blue Ox, Curt and Roadmaster. Roadmaster says they can only be used with a 3 lug tow bar ie Blue Ox. The instructions say the same thing. Please Explain.

You are correct. The Universal Tow Bar Adapter for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Baseplate # RM62ZR (039-2) should only be used with a triple lug attachment and not a single lug. The adapter will still work with Blue Ox, Curt, etrailer, and Demco tow bars. But, only the models that have the triple lug style. There are a few models that do not have the triple lug and they would not be compatible.
