How do you mount the slide rail on the RV for an Aussie grill

I will start by saying that Camco highly recommends that the Camco RV Grill Mounting Rail # CAM57268 is installed by a qualified RV dealer.

However, if you are going to install the rail yourself; there is not a "set" way for installation. This is because every RV is going to be different. The rail gets screwed onto the RV. But you have to take care to not penetrate hidden gas, electrical, fresh water or waste lines when mounting. Also, avoid drilling through the interior wall of your RV.

The rail also needs to be installed with support behind the outer wall/skin of the RV. It can not be attached to just the outer wall/skin. It needs to be screwed into supports and of you do not have enough support(s), a backing plate may be required.
