My 2018 Lincoln MKC has a feature that senses movement under the car and then opens the hatch. Will this hitch affect that operation?

We haven't heard any complaints about the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13194 affecting any lift gate sensors on the 2018 MKC. This is a common issue on many mid size SUV's and what customers typically have to do is kick to the left or right of the 2" receiver. The receiver creates a blind spot on some vehicles and you have to work around it.

The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13194 is custom fit and bolts to your 2018 Lincoln MKC with included hardware. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 525 lbs maximum tongue weight that can be increased to 5,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
