Distance Between Thule Roof Rack Crossbars And Roof On 2014 Audi Q7

We just bought a 2014 Audi Q7, and had the dealer put on the Audi Crossbars. The Audi Crossbars are awful. Look bad and are way too high 5inch between crossbars and roof. What do you guys offer?

The distance between the crossbars on your 2014 Audi Q7 may vary depending on the type roof rack you install and the height of the side rails on your vehicle. I spoke with my contact at Thule and they told me that the height of the # TH460R that is included in the system you referenced is 1-1/2 to 2 inches. This would not include the height of the crossbars that fit the feet.
We have another roof rack option for you. It is the Thule WingBar Roof Rack. The height of this foot pack is about 3-1/4 inches. Since the crossbars are installed in the foot and not on top, the 3-1/4 inches would include the crossbars. Add that to the height of your side rails and this may be a better choice for you. The parts you would need to order for this system are # TH710601, # TH711420, and TH186025.
