What Type of Mounting Hardware Should Be Used For Rack'Em Enclosed Trailer With 3/8" Plywood Walls?

Question:
Good evening, I am interested in purchasing a few Rack Em pieces for our enclosed 16 Haulmark Passport Trailer. From what I have read, the walls on this trailer are 3/8 plywood. I was wondering what hardware would be best to install these items on the walls of my trailer. Thank you

With the Rack'Em products like the Beverage Cooler Rack # RA-18 on 3/8" plywood you will want to use a type of hollow wall anchor to ensure the bolts do not pull out of the walls. You should have a small gap behind the plywood which will allow you to use a wall anchor. Anchors are much less likely to pull out of the plywood versus using screws/lags which can loosen/pull out over time due to the bouncing your trailer will experience. If you do not have a gap behind your plywood you will want to add additional mounting material to help distribute the weight and give you a deeper mounting are for longer lag screws. This can be seen in image below where they added structure to mount the accessories.
