Question:
I have an Atwood 82543 w/900# tongue rating 2inch ball do you have anything with 900# tongue rating?

Expert Reply:
Our highest tongue weight capacity for an actuator that fits a 2" ball is the Demco item # DM8609101. This has an 8,000 lbs capacity with an 800 lbs tongue weight.
The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator item # DM72VR you were looking at is typically what we recommend to replace that old Atwood 82543 actuators.
If you need a 900 lbs tongue weight capacity actuator you will have to upgrade to one that is for a 2-5/16" ball. You would want the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator item # DM8102511. This has a 1,250 lbs tongue weight capacity which is our next closest one.
All three of these brake actuators are for drum brakes.
