To flat tow your 2016 Ford Fusion Energi you'll need the following components:

Baseplate: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-524437-5.

Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables included and has an adjustable head and hank to help keep the tow bar level between the motorhome and Fusion.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This kit will come with everything you need to display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights on your Fusion.

If you have variable voltage tail lights then you'll need the # RM38FR for LED's or the # RM26FR for incandescent lights.

Braking System: Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243. This braking system is a one-time permanent installation that will give you proportional braking to your motorhome and activates off of your motorhome's brakes. You will also need to install the # RM-88400 to prevent the brake signal from your Fusion from overriding the turn signal coming with your motorhome.

Your battery will drain while towing so you'll also want to install a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to keep it charged up while you tow.
