Is the Weight Capacity of the Vehicle Jack Stands Per Jack or for the Pair

Im getting conflicting information. Video says each stand has a capacity of 4000#. However, I was told in chat that the total capacity was 4000#.

The Vehicle Jack Stands part # PTW41021 have a combined 4,000 lb weight capacity. These are great for cars or light duty trucks and vans but they won't be safe for anything much larger.
