Will Install of Hitch on 2023 Volkswagen Jetta Void Warranty

Question:
The local VW dealership says that VW does not endorse the installation of any trailer hitch on the 2023 Jetta. Warranties will be affected. Please comment. Thanks,

Our hitch manufacturers like Curt who makes the # C11540 that fits your 2023 Volkswagen Jetta basically will make a hitch for any vehicle there is a demand for. A lot of people aren't worried about voiding warranties but more importantly you are protected by the Magnuson Moss act. The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act in short states that manufactures cannot void the entire warranty of a vehicle simply because they installed an aftermarket component.
