The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C47JR for your 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro RWD will not cause any issues with the rear collision sensors by itself. When you have attached a Bike Rack # TH903202, Cargo Carrier # C18151, or Ball Mount # C45554 for towing a trailer that would cause the rear sensors to detect objects and alert you. You can switch off this function to prevent the alarm from sounding when you are using the receiver.
