What Would Make Superchips Flashpaq F5 Say Vehicle Did Not Respond on 2005 GMC Yukon?

Hi I have the superchip flash paq f5 and it keeps only going to 8 then stops says vehicle did not respond I did it at night could it be the lights messing it up it’s a 05 Yukon with 5.3 thank you

Typically when the Superchips Flashpaq F5 # SU2845 you have is reading vehicle did not respond like yours is, it means that there is aftermarket electronics interfering.
Check that the purple wire in the back of your OBDII port in your 2005 GMC Yukon doesn't have anything spliced in like an aftermarket stereo etc, however lights would only cause an issue if spliced into this wire.
You'll also need to make sure your battery is completely charged.
