Question:
Most Base Plates have a cross member where you can mount 6-pin Wiring Harness, Ready Brake, Brake Away Cables, etc. How would you mount all those things when this is 2 separate components mounted on each side of the Frame with no cross member?

Expert Reply:
For base plate kits like the Blue Ox part # BX3795 that do not have crossbars or have wiring brackets the trick is that you'll attach the bracket to the front bumper or fascia. For example, the lighting kit part # RM-152-1676-7 comes with a 6-way connector that you'd attach to the front bumper area.
