Does the Electric Ground Control TT require 12V power when in storage,, if Not does it loose level settings thanks

If you were to cut power to the Electric Ground Control TT Automatic 5-Point Travel Trailer Leveling System # LC672136 it would lose any memory settings. A lot of the time people leave these kits installed and wired up and then use a battery maintainer/charger to keep the battery topped off like with the # CTEK56865.
