To install the bed mat, you suggest drilling into the bed.

In regards to the Access Custom Truck Bed Mat part # A45BG which is a fit for a 2023 Nissan Frontier, you do indeed need to drill per the instructions. The drilling is done with a 7/64" drill bit and only into the first layer of the truck bed. You'll then use some screws to secure the snaps to the bed but the screws are only designed to go through the first layer of the truck bed so they won't cause any damage to stuff underneath.
