Distance From HItch Pin Hole To Back Of Receiver On etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:

I have a 2020 Honda Pilot that I would like to be able to use my Velocirax bike rack on. There is a requirement that there is a measurement of 3 3/8 inch 86mm depth past center of hitch pin hole to properly support it. Does the e98840 have that measurement past the pin hole? Or is there another option that you carry that does? I appreciate the help.

The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the receiver on the # e98840 is 3-1/2". This means you will be able to use your VelociRAX bike rack with the hitch on your 2020 Honda Pilot. I also asked VelociRAX about this and the only reason they include that measurement is to make sure the hole in the shank can line up with the hitch pin hole in the receiver. Something like a Class I hitch might have a stop in it to prevent you from inserting the bike rack all the way. A Class III hitch like the etrailer hitch doesn't have that so you have nothing to worry about.
