Recommended RV Storage Cover For A 2016 Forest River R-Pod 180
Updated 01/16/2023 | Published 01/14/2023 >
Question:
I purchased this cover last year i reviewed it 4/24/22 for our 2016 r pod 180. The sides are in great shape but the top of the cover just fell apart, its so dry rotted you can barely touch it and it just comes apart. At this point its almost unusable. Is there a cover with a top panel that can stand up to the sun? We didnt even get a year out of this one.

For your 2016 Forest River R-Pod 180 I recommend the Adco Olefin HD RV Cover # AD97ZR. During Covid the materials needed to make polypropylene covers like the # 290-74839 you had weren't as accessible so they came out with the Olefin HD, which has been tested to withstand all climates.
This cover isn't the exact shape of your R-Pod so there will be a bit of excess baggage that you'll have to tuck in when strapping on the cover, but the longevity of the cover is going to be worth it. The white Olefin top panel blocks harmful UV rays that can cause cracking and fading that you'll experience in your Florida climate.
This cover also comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty, so if any issues arise you can get a replacement without having the big expense of purchasing a new cover.
