Question:
Which grease do you recommend for a boat trailer wheel bearings
asked by: Mark
Expert Reply:
I recommend using the Calcium Sulfonate grease like the LubriMatic Marine Trailer Wheel Bearing Grease - 3 oz. Cartridge # L54FR. You're able to combine the calcium sulfonate grease and the anhydrous calcium grease together. You need to make sure your quantities and amounts are mixed correctly so it is not too thick. If the grease is too thick it will not operate under the same temperature changes and will not be as fluid to lubricate all the smaller parts of the bearing.
