Recommended Snow Tire Chains for 2020 Ford F-150 with 295/70R18 Tires

Question:
Hello, Happy New Year, I was wondering if you could recommend an affordable option for Snow Tires. The size I need is for a 295/70R18. It will go on a 2020 Ford F150 FX4. I live in California and going to the mountains for the weekend and need to have chains just in case. Will not be using for hardcore snow use. Thanks

The most cost effective snow tire chains we offer for a 2020 Ford F-150 with 295/70R18 tires are the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains for Wide Base Tires part # TC3231. These are heavy duty chains so they will work great for you in deep snow or ice. Unfortunately, due to the larger tire size you only really have heavy duty options to choose from. That said, you will at least have a tire chain that is up for the job if you actually run into trouble. The other more cost effective options such as tire cables which are available for smaller tires are okay performance wise and will allow you to meet crossing guidelines but if you ever found yourself in a situation where the roads were bad and you really needed snow tire chains, they would undoubtedly leave you wanting more.
Please note, you will want to refer to the vehicle's owner's manual for tire chain guidelines before use.
