What’s the overall length in the opened position and the overall length in the closed position?

I contacted the manufacturer about the length of the Replacement Cam Tightener for Titan Chain Heavy Truck Snow Tire Chains # TCCAM3HD while opened and closed.
They said the # TCCAM3HD is sold with two links, one on each end. So the overall measurement including the links is 7” open and 6” closed.
The # TCCAM3HD is intended to be used with Titan Chain tire chains that have 0.312" (8 mm) thick side chain links.
