The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7365 you were looking at for a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek does have a 2" square opening. The corners are rounded and not a sharp edge allowing you to use Class III 2" accessories and ball mounts. We do sell a 24" Hitch Bar # D36 which will fit inside the tube if you are trying to fabricate your own hitch mounted accessories.
