Question:

Can you confirm this will fit a 2020 Dodge Journey Crossroads? The dealer said its impossible to mount a trailer hitch on this model.

Yes, I can confirm that the etrailer Hitch item # e98845 does fit your 2020 Dodge Journey Crossroad. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Dodge with included hardware. We hear this from customers complaining about dealer's all the time. I have linked an installation video below and the instructions so you can see the steps involved. It says INCLUDING CROSSROAD on the top of the front page.

This is a class III hitch, with a 2" receiver, that weighs 30 lbs. It has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 400 lbs maximum tongue weight. It can be used with weight distribution systems but they will not increase your Journey's capacity. This hitch is made in the USA.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness and a ball mount kit item # C45534. If your Journey has LED taillights the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118536 will be the kit that you need. If you have incandescent taillights then you will want item # 118567.
