Does Kat's Heaters Oil and Coolant Heater Install in Drain Plug of Oil Pan
Published 11/29/2022 >
Question:
Dose this install in in the oil pan where the drain plug goes? I drive alot and rack up lots of miles requiring frequent oil changes, if it installs in the drain plug how often will I need to replace the o-ring?

The Kat's Heater part # KH30904 is not a drain plug cooler and instead would install in a port on an oil pan or in the coolant system. You'd need to find a 1/2 inch NPT port in the coolant system or on your oil pan to use it. Or if you let me know the year/make/model of the vehicle I can see if there's a block heater that installs in one of the cartridge holes.
