Solera Slide Out Awning Roller Tube Inner Diameter

Question:
I have an AandE 8500 Dometic awning and in attempting to replace the fabric something went radically wrong with the tension spring attached pic and I can not remove it so I am faced with replacing the roll bar and the right spring picture the left spring should beinch fine to move over to new roll bar. The solera tube seems to be configured the same as the AandE with three groves - is the inside diameter the same ? Can I accomplish my plan using the Solera tube ?

The inner diameter of Solera roller tubes like the Replacement 20' Roller Tube for Solera RV Awnings # LC33FR is 3", that being said Solera and other branded awnings are not compatible with each other. We typically have a lot of people wanting to replace they Dometic awnings with the Solera replacements we carry but the arms connect differently making it a complete replacement.
