Question:
shocks for 2010 jayco 313RKS fifth wheel. The FW has brackets on the frame and axles for shocks. The maximum distance between the brackets is 10.25. Ive tried Monroe and BYG shocks. Both are too long to install. Lippert looks to be the same. Any other options available.

There is an option to add shocks to your 2010 Jayco 313 RKS 5th wheel trailer, but not using the brackets you already have. What you'd need to do is use a kit from Roadmaster that mounts from the bottom of the frame and has adjustable holes for the bracket so it is compatible with different dimensions. This will work with leaf springs above the axle or below the axle, and I have added a couple of photos that customers sent in which show this. The correct part number for your trailer is the following:
- Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb Axle # RM-2460
The Comfort Ride Shocks # RM-2460 are very well-regarded by our customers, and will give you Jayco 5th wheel a much improved ride, limiting its bounce and improving its overall stability.
