Would like to know the measurement of the opening of the arch horizontallyinch if possible ?

The Spring Seat for Typical 8,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles with 3-1/2" Diameter part # TRSS350 is designed for a 3-1/2" diameter axle so the opening of the cutout/arch is 3-1/2" which you can see in the photo below.
