Should I get the 1-1/4" or 2" receiver from draw tite for my 2023 Mazda CX5?

Personally I prefer to go with the class III, 2" Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76138 on your 2023 Mazda CX-5. The larger opening is the more common size and will open you up to a greater amount of hitch mounted accessories and ball mounts you can use. The only downfall is you will have less ground clearance with this receiver. In our shop we measured this height at roughly 10" of ground clearance.
The class II, 1-1/4" Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36601 did have a better ground clearance around 11". This will be the better option if ground clearance is a concern or if all your hitch mounted accessories and ball mounts you currently have are for a 1-1/4" receiver.
