Question:
Will air bags raise the rear end?
asked by: Rick
Helpful Expert Reply:
You may see some rise in the rear of your 2009 Nissan Altima when you add the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4105. It really depends on if you already have additional weight on the rear end and if your springs are worn. With new springs and no additional weight you are less likely to see any rise in the rear suspension but as the bag pushes into the coils it will allow some of the sag to be relieved and raise the height on worn springs.
The Air Command Compressor System # F2610 will allow you to wirelessly control the air pressure in the springs and make adjustments from your smartphone. This will also not require you to run air lines into your cab for a manual gauge.
