In order to find the towing capacity of a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 you'll need to take a look in your owner's manual. This will list the tow capacity for said vehicle based on what it's equipped with from the factory such as cab type, bed length, engine size etc. The towing capacity range is from 4,400 lbs to 10,700 lbs depending on options.
In order to tow a fifth wheel trailer you'll need a fifth wheel hitch, install kit, and wiring harness. I recommend the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16400-204, Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # 16516, and Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness part # A10-7010. This is a great cost effective setup to get you up and going, just be mindful of your turning clearance with the cab as the bed length is on the small side.
