Question:
I was looking at buying the Titan TC2828 for my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. It has 265-60 R18 tires. It was recommended that I get TCSA2 chain tensioners. What is the advantage of these tighteners over rubber ones?

Expert Reply:
The Titan Chain Link and Spring Tire Chain Adjuster for Light Trucks # TCSA2 when used with the Titan chains part # TC2828 has the advantage of being all metal instead of having a rubber component that over time might be prone to failing. These are also a little easier to install than rubber tensioners like the part # TCOA2 that you also referenced.
