Note this hitch comes complete with all required installation hardware and includes a pin and clip to secure your accessory item (such as your bike rack).

Since you already have a bike carrier you intend to use with this hitch you will first want to verify that the carrier is rated as a Class I bike rack. A class I hitch like this unit from Curt can only be used with Class I accessories. If your bike rack happens to be a Class II carrier it will not fit this hitch, even if both the hitch and carrier are the 1-1/4-inch size.
