According to Lippert, the # LC96BJ fits steel steps with at least 5" of ground clearance. More than likely your scissor steps are made of aluminum, which means you would not be able to use the Solid Stance.
Instead, I recommend the TorkLift All Terrain Landing Gear # TLA8000. This fits most standard scissor steps, and the landing gear legs are adjustable so you can level your steps. These would mount in place of the rivets at the bottom of your stairs, with a measurement of 3.75" between the mounting holes. They have a 1,400 lb capacity per pair and come with a lifetime warranty.
